There is new scientific evidence that exercise results in a fit brain for people over 50. For example, moderate cardio for 45 minutes or resistance training improves the cognitive function. Cardio included walking briskly, running, hiking, even dancing. Tai Chi resulted in better memory. Also, there were improvements even in elderly patients with early dementia.
